Our single 'Cá Bhfuil ár Scoil?' was the highest new entry in the irish charts at No 7 during the week 16-23rd of October 2009.

A special thanks to all who have supported and continue to support the single and the cause. As many may already know the government has just anounced the building of 6 new schools again Gaelscoil Bharra is not in the list.

The day before the single release the band, staff, students and parents were out in force protesting outside the buildings of the Department of Education. This was featured on TV3 news as part of a feature involving the Minister for Education Batt O'Keefe. The protest was also featured on TG4 news, Radio Na Gaelthachta, Newstalk and FM104. In addition an article about the protest and single release was published in the Irish Examiner.

During the protest we had the opportunity to meet with the Labour TD for Dublin Central, Joe Costello He later emphasised the schools plight on the labour website.

On the morning of the 16th we had a live radio spot with RTE Radio 1 "Today with Pat Kenny". In Pat's absence Rachael English interviewed the Band, and the Principal and students of Gaelscoil Bharra, about the campaign and single release. We then performed the single live on air in the RTE studio.

We then legged it back to the heartland of Cabra to perform to staff and students of 4 schools in the area including a rousing rendition back at Gaelscoil Bharra.

Finally we made our way to Tower Records on Wicklow Street to do an instore performance to promote the single release.

We can't help but itererate how worthy this cause is so please go out and purchase the single and also if you can make it down to our fundraising gig in the Village on the 22nd. All proceeds of the single and gig go to the school.

In addition to the release of our latest single "Cá bhfuil ár Scoil" in conjuction with the team at Gaelscoil Bharra we have produced a music video starring the students of Gaelscoil Bharra and Tupelo. This can be viewed below via youtube.
